Check to see if fuse number 15 or any other fuses in the interior fuse box are blown. If it is check the brake pressure switch on the end of the master cylinder for fluid and or signs of heat damage. If a problem is found leave the switch harness disconnected and replace the fuse. If that correct the condition call your Ford dealer and ask if they have records of a recall being performed on your truck for the brake pressure switch and harness. Again if a problem is found at that switch do not reconnect it. Many of those trucks caught on fire because of that switch. |
