My third brake light is out. Other brake lights work. Dealer telling me needs to be replaced. |

There does not appear to be a specific fuse for the CHMSL (third stoplight) since it is controlled by the BCM. I would however recommend checking fuse F33U in the underhood fuse box and fuses F25D and F29D in the instrument panel fuse box. Final testing would be done at the two wire connector at the CHMSL. The black wire will have a constant ground and the white wire will have power with the brake pedal depressed. The ignition may have to be on to test at the CHMSL. The CHMSL uses LEDs and is replaced as an assembly. |
