Sparky I have a 2007 Monte Carlo and after installing a new battery developed the actuator clicking noise when opening or closing the door or trunk etc. I read your instructions for calibrating the actuator door and am unable to find the correct fuse as I do not have one labeled HVAC.

Correct fuse to pull for actuator reset for 2007 Monte Carlo.

Sparky

According to GM Service Information a recalibration can only be performed with a scan tool. If it could be done using the older method the Display fuse in the underhood fuse box is the fuse that supplies battery power to the HVAC control panel.

Recalibrating the system will not take care of the clicking /thumping noise. That is being caused by a broken gear inside the actuator that is making the noise.
