The most likely cause of your problem is a faulty mode door actuator. It is the culprit 95% of the time. The best way to diagnose the problem is with a system compatible scan tool. If you do not have access to a scan tool the next best thing is to remove some panels and observe which actuators move or try to move after a recalibration is initialized. There are a total of four actuators so there would need to be at least four recalibration attempts. You could play the odds and just replace the mode actuator. The following link should help. |
