Last winter we changed the battery, did not use the a/c, now when we are needing it I get hot air out the bottom vents and cold air out there f the defrost. I have tried recalibrating by disconnecting the battery, pulling the fuses, recommendation from YouTube which led me to your site

The most likely cause of your problem is a faulty mode door actuator.  It is the culprit 95% of the time. The best way to diagnose the problem is with a system compatible scan tool. If you do not have access to a scan tool the next best thing is to remove some panels and observe which actuators move or try to move after a recalibration is initialized.  There are a total of four actuators so there would need to be at least four recalibration attempts. You could play the odds and just replace the mode actuator.
