I recalibrated my ac as per your suggestion. Twice now. I now have no cold air at all instead of cold on drivers side only. My question is… what are the part numbers of all the actuators I need to buy. I believe there are three. And 2 are the same. Is this correct by you also??

Part number 15-72971 covers both temperature door actuators and the fresh air/recirculation actuator.

The mode actuator is part number 15-73620.

Just to be sure have you checked to make sure the compressor is coming on and the lines are cold where they enter the firewall?

Thank you for you reply. The compressor comes on yes. As to cold lines I have not checked but I was getting cold on drivers side before re-calibration. I also was wondering. Is there a way to bypass the controls to allow the driver to control it all??

If the actuators are semi operational there is a way to temporarily control the movement and then disconnect the actuator when it is in a desired location.

The following the general outline is for a regular truck. I would have to do some research into locations and wire colors on your Hummer.

Thank you again. I ordered the actuators plus a new radio. Figured it is best to do it all together. As to attempting a bypass of sorts on the actuators, I have just decided to stick with the original model. I’ll post info and a few pics when I start my project. Thank you.

Finished replacing all three actuators and the radio. It took about 5 hours. No cutting or breaking of stuff and it all went well. Lots of cold air and good tunes. From dealer I was told it would be 9 hours at 125.00 per hour. That’s just for one actuator. And the part was 250.00 from them. I got all of them new for under 100.00. That’s all of them together. Thanks for advice
