I don’t know why my rear A/C isn’t blowing air.

In my 2001 Chevy suburban z71 the air won’t blow in the rear at all. I have checked the fuses and relays, I have replaced the blower motor and the resistor still nothing. I checked the voltage and I’m getting 13 volts going to the motor but it’s still not running. The hoses underneath going to the evaporator are cold so the A/C is working correctly.

There are six different designs for your year Suburban.

I need to know if you have auto or manual controls?

Does your Suburban have a sunroof?

Does it have rear a/c only?

Does it have rear heat and a/c?

Manual controls, no sunroof and front and rear AC and heat.

I am including  an attachment that will give you a better idea about how the system works. If you have battery voltage at terminal “B” of the blower motor then I would think that the issue would be surrounding the ground which terminates at the right rear “D” pillar

I did find this under the fuse box where the RR HVAC fuse would sit.

Pretty good chance that is the problem. Particularly if it is a larger orange wire in the A10 slot. The easiest way to repair that would be to use an inline fuse holder with at least  12 gauge wires. Attach one end to a battery stud at the end of the fuse box and the other to the burnt wire. You will need to cut the burnt wire off far enough back to get to good wire. Remember to either completely remove the old terminal and wire stub or at least seal it off.

Dude this fixed it it’s blowing cold in the rear again thanks sparky I really appreciate it ???
