how to manually recalibrate a mode door actuator on a buick regal 2013

I replaced the door mode actuator because air was only blowing form defrost and floor vent, very little air from front dash vents. Once replaced it worked perfectly, air from all vents when using the separate options. An hour later I checked it again and air is blowing from all vents at the same time. I have cold air, blows hard just not the separate vents when needed. Will a recalibration solve this? If not what could be the problem?

Remove the HVAC control module fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds. The fuse should be fuse number 17 in the interior fuse box. It could be labeled and F17DA. Alternate method is to disconnect the battery for a minimum of 10 seconds.

Re install the fuse or reconnect the battery.

Turn the ignition on and Do Not Touch anything.

Recalibration take about 40 seconds. I would allow up to one full minute.

Turn the ignition off for a minimum of 10 seconds but no longer than 30 seconds.

Ignition back on and test system operation.

These vehicles are prone to gear, lever  and housing issues.
