Alternator caught fire, problem with electrical system after altenator replacement

The alternator on my 2009 Acura MXD caught fire. I pulled over and put out the fire with water. The car was towed home. The damage was the alternator and the plug was melted. I was able to find a plug on-line and replaced the alternator and the plug. When I started the car after replacing the plug and alternator, the alternator was not charging and EVERY light and warning indicator was flashing (emission control, SH-AWD, engine charging system, transmission light and the ‘d’ for drive is blinking.
I thought possibly this was being caused by low voltage so I took off the alternator and had it bench tested and it tested ok. I now have the alternator back on the car and same thing. Not charging and ALL the lights are on again.
Do you have any ideas of what I should do next? I have a diagnostic meter but not sure it tells me anything.
I appreciate you help.

Sparky

More than likely there are blown fuses from when the first alternator failed.

I’ll check all the fuses tonight. Any idea which fuse would be likely to blow?

Is it possible that the computer was damaged?

Sparky

The involved fuses are #18 and #21 in the underdash fuse box.  Also the fuse one section (120 amp)  of the multi fuse link in the underhood fuse box.

You were spot on, Sparky. Fuse #18 was blown. I replaced the fuse, cleared the codes and the car is back on the road. Thank you , thank you. I have made a donation to Sparky.

All good now, closing ticket.
