There are a few things that can be checked by observation but you may need to turn it over to a shop to check codes and data with the appropriate scan tool. First check to make sure the a/c lines are not frosting over when the problem is present. Next check to make sure the compressor clutch is engaged and turning with the pulley when the problem is present. Last check to see if the condenser fan or fans are working properly along with clear airways for the condenser. |
