I have gone thru the recalibration, the control module is new but doesn’t go to 74 deg when I push the auto button. All the actuators seem to be working ok but I can’t get cold air unless i put the dials on 60.

The default reading of 74 F is only there to show that it entered recalibration. To enter recalibration the battery power needs to be disconnected. This can be done by removing the correct HVAC fuse, disconnecting the battery or using a compatible scan tool.

However your issue of no cold air until you set the temperature to 60 F indicates that you may have a faulty aspirator (interior temperature sensor). It is located in the headliner over the driver’s head. Since you have a Yukon there may be a second aspirator in the far rear of the vehicle.

It would be best to look at the data with a compatible scan tool to confirm the cause of the fault. If the headliner has been down or replaced there is a very good chance that it may be just unplugged.
