terrible hard starting, kicking back and took out the starter drive, once it starts it runs fine, tried a new cam sensor cause it had a P1345 code, no luck. what do you think? still have the P1345 code, it started fine with old sensor but when it was warm its was hard starting, long cranking. |

Chances are that the gear at the bottom of the distributor is worn and the cam retard reading in scan data is not at 0 degrees. It is likely reading somewhere between 15 and 45 degrees. There are several ways to overcome this but a scan tool is needed to see what the cam retard reading is. |
