Do you think that the HVAC problem that I’m experiencing with my vehicle can be resolved by resetting one or more blend door actuator motors or do one or more need to be replaced?

When the automatic climate control is turned on, the driver’s side vents and also the rear A/C blows cold. Quite opposite, on the passenger’s side, the A/C blows heat through these vents regardless what temperature the passenger temperature control is set on. The only way to alleviate any heat is to shut off the vents either using the switch on the dashboard or shutting the vents off themselves. If there’s a way to reset the blend doors by disconnecting the ground on the battery or any other way, your help and knowledge would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much!

Sorry, there were no recalibration procedures back then. Most likely a faulty actuator, broken or disconnected link arm.
