I changed the thormostat on my 99 chevy s10 pickup and when trying to put the 2 bolts back in they would not go in . Now I have 2 studs stuck in there and a lot of gasket sealer to fill in the large gap all the way around the housing . Help |

Sounds like you have coolant down in the holes or other debris and the bolts will not fully install or they are both cross threaded. |
