I have a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder.
I let the battery corrosion get bad enough on the paositive terminal that the corrosion made its way into the body of the connector just behind the positive post. I’ve been trying to find an oem replacement but I can’t seem to find one anywhere.
I’m wondering what my options are?
I’ve read on some forums how it can be a simple fix since it’s just a case of a new connector but I’m clueless as to what it the right connector

I found an image of the connector I need under one of your posts for fixing a positive terminal on my same vehicle. I’ve posted the picture below. Can you help me sparky?

I am assuming you are referring to the connector with the red plastic body? There are several options that would work. If the metal has not gotten too thin you can simply remove it from the vehicle, scrape off the heavy corrosion and then soak it in a small container with baking soda and water. After it is thoroughly cleaned, it can be reassembled and use some dielectric grease to protect the metal. If it is too far gone then the next option would be to find a replacement in a salvage yard. You could try to buy it from the dealership but I think it was only sold as part of the battery cable assembly. It might be a bit pricey if it is even available.
