My problem is that I’m only getting heat/air coming out of my vents. Nothing comes out for defrost or the feet. I checked the blend motor behind the glove box, and that didn’t fix the problem. Plus there is a clicking noise on the driver’s side. |

The mode door actuator is on the driver’s side just to the right of the instrument cluster. Chances are there is a broken gear inside the actuator that is the cause of the airflow issue and the source of the clicking noise. I have never replaced a mode actuator in your YMM model of vehicle but from what I have read it involves removing the instrument cluster and the brake pedal assembly for access. |
